Land Acknowledgment
Our Circle Time meeting places are located on the home of many diverse First Nations. We acknowledge that this is the unceded territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Anishinaabeg. We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and the Inuit peoples. We acknowledge our deep privilege to play, learn and grow here. Toronto is within the territory of the Dish with One Spoon Treaty which requires responsibility of those who use the land to share it peaceably and care for it. As settlers, it is our responsibility to uphold this treaty
and teach our children to as well. It is also our responsibility to learn about the history of the Indigenous peoples of this land and take meaningful steps towards reconciliation.
